This cutlery design dates back to the 19th century. The softly curved lily-shaped handle was influenced by Art Nouveau. The omission of the flowery ornamentation of this era, the limitation to a purely formal message make Navette one of the great, widely admired masterpieces of the silversmith´s art of our day. | |
